Easy Ways to Help

Here's an incredible site that gives you six opportunities to help some worthwhile causes, and it's totally free!  The causes are: food for the needy, giving free mamograms, helping children get health care, giving free books, helping to save the rain forest, and helping animal shelters.  All you have to do is point and click.  Please, go and take a look--you won't be sorry.  I actually have a daily e-mail reminder to go there every day.

Another great cause is to send greeting cards to our soldiers overseas.  Even though I don't support the war in Iraq, I like to do this to help them keep their spirits up.  I'm an Army veteran, and although I've never been in combat, I know that hearing from others is a great thing for morale.  I have a daily reminder for this one, too.

Larry just turned 107 years old (no, that's not a typo) on June 14, 2009, and is living in a home.  Unfortunately, his funds are close to running out.  Can you please go to this site and help him out, even if it's only a few dollars?  Thank you so much in advance!

President Obama is reaching out to people and asking them to volunteer to help in their communities.  Here is a great website you can go to so you can see what opportunities are available in your area.
